Client’s Brief: We were engaged to design and implement onsite branding for Hindmarsh Construction at the Altitude Apartments project in Belconnen, ACT. Our aim was to help the client create a strong onsite presence, showcasing their new logo and branding.
Considerations:
- To create signage solutions to suit various applications – jump-forms, scaffolds, nat-screens, fencing, etc.
- Implementing signage at different stages of the project.
- Managing signage installations to fit in with the construction schedule.
Solution:
50m runs of banner mesh were used to wrap around the scaffolding of each of the Altitude Apartment towers. We also designed and manufactured banner mesh banners which were tailored to suit the size of the nat-form screens. Banner mesh was best suited for these areas as the material allows airflow without compromising the quality of the print.
Two faces of each jump form were wrapped with PVC vinyl banners. The Zone 2 jump form banners were designed so that the ribbons flow through from one side to the other, blending the Hindmarsh branding with the site structure. As the material would be highly exposed to the sun, we included a UV coating which assists in prolonging longevity of banners.
A large site sign was supplied on alu-panel sheeting – the panels were then installed directly to the colour-bond fence. Being fixed to the fencing at eye level, vandalism was a main concern for the client. We included a laminate coating over the digital print which protects the surface from scratching as well as giving the sign an anti-graffiti coating.
Results for the Client:
The onsite branding solutions implemented exceeded the client’s expectations, providing a strong brand image, creating consistency throughout the site and powerful public brand awareness.
